Hampi Revisited - 2012

- Large group and all friends
- Motor-bike

- Bad accommodation

Vehicle: Tempo Traveller-AC (12-14 seater)


Day 1: 28th Sep - The Start
Bangalore -> Hampi
11:30 PM: Pick everyone and leave for Hampi. Take NH3 through Chitradurga. NH13 until Hospet.


Day 2: 29th Sep – Hampi!

8:00 am: Check-in at hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari (not a great hotel though) Relax, freshen up, tea/coffee.

12:30 PM: Hampi Archaeological museum 

2:00 PM: Lunch@Mango Tree

3:00 PM: Sasivekali Ganesha

6:00 PM: Back to hotel -> Relaxed

Day 3: 30th Sept

8:00 am: Kudos Sanket and Deepak. Everyone got up early and left hotel. Hired bicycle

  Leave early morning for Badami. Explore Badami caves. Breakfast either before leaving for Badami or at Badami.

Back to Hampi. Vijaya Vittal Temple (stone chariot, carvings, musical pillars)
Lunch at Manju Khanawali's in Hampi Bazaar

Evening needs to figured out. Can find out more places to explore.

Day 4:

1st Oct, Monday: Cross the river to Virupapar Gadde. Climb Ajaneyadri. Temple and view of Hampi. Pampa sarovar. Bukka's aqueduct while driving back to Hospet. Leave for Bangalore.
